Cosmographer I am not a fan of re-recordings of classic records, but I for one applaud il maestro Simonetti's decision to redo one of Goblin's rightfully famed soundtracks. This edition breathes new life into old classics and the first disc in itself is worth the price of admission. The Daemonia folks plays circles around anyone and truly rip it all up BIG TIME!

If that wasn't already enough, the live tracks and material on disc 2 adds tremendous value to this otherwise worthy release. GET IT! Favorite track: L’alba dei Morti Viventi (Live) By Daemonia.

Brendan Sean Piroué This album is a brilliant mix of many genres. With some heavy metal tones, rocky riffs, jazz grooves and ballads, it results in a kitsch album ! Love it ! Favorite track: Supermarket.

Connor Danielson Completely surpassed all my expectations. Everything feels familiar yet new in the best possible way. Eleven updated tracks from the original "Dawn of the Dead" along with four excellent live versions, two great covers by fellow Italian bands, two infectiously dance-able remixes and even "Zombie Zone" from Simonetti himself make this a must have for any fan of Simonetti's work as well as the classic horror film we all know and love. Favorite track: At The Safari.

Rustblade presents Claudio Simonetti and his Goblin playing and reinterpreting the score of one of the most famous horror movies of all times to celebrate 40 years of the idolised film Dawn of the Dead directed by George Romero and produced by Dario Argento.

The music that accompanies the movie is a mix of prog and electronic rock full of tension and magic tribalism. Piercing guitars, Synth orchestration and virtualism give life to thousands of blood thirsty zombies.
